About This Event
Join Hmong community members for an evening to commemorate fifty years of Hmong Americans in Minnesota. The evening will kick off a series of commemorative events to spark conversations and reflection on the cultural, economic and civic contributions of the Hmong community. Hear stories of migration and resilience, and participate in hands-on activities for all ages.
Food will be served and activities will be available to guests starting at 5:00 pm. Yav Ntuj Qub Qab: Of Distance and Time Portrait Exhibition on view on the third floor. Performances will begin inside 3M Auditorium at 6:30 pm. Attendees are invited to participate in a variety of hands-on activities throughout the evening, including: seed planting, needlework, LEGO®, photography, and story mapping.
Complimentary food tickets offered with registration. Food is served until we run out.
